A MAN WHO GETS THINGS DONE
ABOUT GREG
ONE COMMUNITY. LOCALS COME FIRST.
Greg Lund has spent his life proving that where you come from shapes who you become — but where you choose to stay says even more.
Born and raised overseas, living in Norway, Greece, England, and Bermuda before he turned 16, Greg grew up learning to adapt quickly to new places and new people. That experience taught him something he's carried ever since: there's no better place in the world to build a life and a future than right here in America.
Greg arrived in Cocoa Beach in 1985 — and it's been home ever since, save for a chapter that eventually brought him right back. A graduate of Flagler College with a degree in Business Administration, Greg opened Natural Art Surf Shop near Patrick Space Force Base and spent the next 30 years building a career in aquatic management as a small business owner. As head coach of the Flagler College surf team, he led the program to its first-ever NSSA Championship in Huntington Beach — a testament to the same drive he brings to everything he takes on.
A 17-year run in the financial services industry eventually pulled Greg away from Cocoa Beach. But the town never let go of him. Over ten years ago, he came back home for good — and he's spent every year since reinvesting in the community that shaped him. He now serves as Vice Chairman of the Leisure Board, recently graduated from the Citizens Academy, and holds his Captain's License, because when you love the water the way Greg does, you protect it.
Today, Greg is an avid golfer, fisherman, and full-time local — someone who doesn't just talk about the Cocoa Beach lifestyle but lives it every single day. He's a proven leader with a track record of solving complex problems and getting real results, whether in business or on the Leisure Board, where he's helped turn underused city assets into opportunities that benefit every resident.
Greg isn't running for City Commissioner because he wants a title. He's running because he believes locals deserve leadership that listens, works hard, and always puts them first.
