ABOUT GREG

Greg Lund was born in Louisiana and raised overseas — living in Norway, Greece, England, and Bermuda before he turned 16. Greg grew up learning to adapt quickly to new places and new people, an experience that shaped how he approaches challenges today.
Greg arrived in Cocoa Beach in 1985 after graduating from Flagler College with a BA in Business Administration. He led the Flagler College surf team to its first-ever NSSA National Championship in Huntington Beach. His involvement in surfing connected him with Pete Dooly, and Greg opened Natural Art Surf Shop for Pete near Patrick Space Force Base.
After several years, Greg moved away and spent the next seventeen years as a financial advisor, eventually landing in Orlando, where he became a weekend warrior fishing the Thousand Islands. [30 years ago / TBD], he walked away from the financial services industry and started his own business, Bottled Ocean, specializing in aquatic management solutions — work he's still active in today.
Over ten years ago, he came back home to Cocoa Beach for good, and he's spent every year since reinvesting in the community that shaped him. He now serves as Vice Chairman of the Leisure Board, recently graduated from the Citizens Academy, and holds his Captain's License, because when you love the water the way Greg does, you protect it.
Today, Greg is an avid golfer, fisherman, and full-time local — someone who doesn't just talk about the Cocoa Beach lifestyle but lives it every single day. He's a proven leader with a track record of solving complex problems and getting real results, whether in business or on the Leisure Board, where he's helped turn underused city assets into opportunities that benefit every resident.
Greg isn't running for City Commissioner because he wants a title. He's running because he believes locals deserve leadership that listens, works hard, and always puts them first.
